Rare Side Effects

  • Infection or Injury – Extremely rare when performed by a licensed practitioner using sterile needles.
  • Lung Puncture (Pneumothorax) – Very rare but possible if needles are inserted too deeply in the chest area

How to Reduce Risks

  • Always see a licensed, experienced acupuncturist.
  • Inform your practitioner of any medical conditions or medications.
  • Eat a light meal before treatment to avoid dizziness.
  • Stay hydrated and give yourself time to relax post-treatment.
